It will make him King Arthur eventually, love. Prince William being the crown prince and all. (Well, after Charles, then, but I truly hope he won't become King. I think Elizabeth hopes that, too.) The next in line for the throne would be Kate and William's firstborn child, in this case, it's "Arthur" -- if they decide to name him like that. So when their child inherits the throne, he'd become "King Arthur".

Yes, I do realise the line of succession means that Will and Kates baby would inherit the throne. I’m saying that when he becomes king, even if his first name is Arthur, he would not be KING Arthur. He’d pick a middle name and go with one of those. Like how Albert Frederick Arthur George became King George VI. Or Albert Edward became Edward VII or Alexandrina Victoria became Victoria. Arthur is on the list of allowed names for the royal family, sure, but not on the list of allowed names for the king.
